In this tutorial, we will walk you through the process of importing 3D Asset NFTs into your Land NFT in Decentralverse AI, the first AI-generated Metaverse based on Earth. Follow these steps to enhance your virtual land with unique 3D assets:
Connect Your Wallet: Start by connecting to the Decentralverse AI app using the same wallet you used to purchase your Land NFT, as shown in the previous video tutorial, "How to Buy Land."
Locate Your Land NFT: Open the left sidebar and navigate to MY LANDS/3D ASSETS. Click on your Land NFT, and the Decentralverse AI app will automatically locate it on the map.
Access the Right Sidebar: Once you click on your Land NFT on the map, the right sidebar will appear, providing you with various options.
Import 3D Asset: To import a 3D Asset NFT onto your land, you can either click the three-dot menu and select 'Import 3D Asset' or directly click the 3D Asset icon.
Upload Your 3D Model: In the 'Create 3D Asset' upload form, drag and drop your GLB 3D model or click to browse and select the file. After uploading, you will see a preview where you can rotate the model using your mouse.
Upload a Preview Image: Next, upload a preview image of your 3D model to give potential buyers a visual reference.
Enter Asset Details: Provide a name for your 3D Asset. The description field is optional but can help convey more information about your asset.
Select Properties: Choose one or more properties for your NFT. Once you've made your selections, click 'Submit' to import your 3D asset onto your Land NFT.
Position Your 3D Asset: After the upload is complete, your 3D asset will appear on your Land NFT. You can move it to a new position by clicking on the desired location. Additionally, adjust its height and rotation using the plus and minus buttons.
Approve Minting: After successfully importing your 3D asset for minting as an NFT, click on the three-dot menu in the right sidebar and select 'Mint a 3D Asset NFT.' Next, navigate to your wallet to approve the minting of your 3D asset NFT by confirming the transaction in your wallet interface. If you're not satisfied with your 3D asset, you can select 'Delete 3D Asset' from the menu and repeat the process.
Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a 3D Asset NFT on your Land NFT in Decentralverse AI.
Find Your Asset: Your 3D Asset NFT can be found in the left sidebar under MY LANDS/3D ASSETS
Explore on OpenSea: You can also explore your 3D Asset NFT in the Decentralverse AI 3D Assets collection on OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace.
To successfully import 3D Asset NFTs onto a Land parcel, ensure that the asset is in .glb format and is under 100MB in size. The file size limit depends on the land area, with each land parcel currently supporting one 3D Asset NFT.
A table is available to illustrate the correlation between the file size of 3D assets in .glb format and the size of the land area. After uploading, you retain full control over pricing and offers for the asset, which is represented as an NFT.
Once uploaded, you can manipulate the asset's position, rotation, and height, allowing for precise placement and customization within your virtual space. This feature provides creative freedom in designing structures, galleries, or interactive environments on your land.
